Due to a series of both administrative and practical issues, NEP-AL IT staff decided that it was in the interest of the SMEs to postpone the Matchmaking event to a later date. The new official dates are:

NEP-AL IT MATCHMAKING EVENT is one of the core output of NEP-AL IT project which will bring a minimum of 160 Euro-Asian SMEs linked to the ICT sector to meet and interact during a 3-day-direct meeting. The event, rich of direct talks, stands, seminars and much more, will offer you the opportunity to:

• present your innovative ideas and products;

• search for technologies, know-how, solutions;

• meet several potential business partners at one location and in one day;

• promote your business in Asia and Europe.

Participants will be also able to exploit other innumerable advantages such as:

• credit, through selection by the project team, of participation to a EU-funded project;

• direct contacts with other 160 companies of the sector, in Italy, Eastern Europe, and Asia;

• direct contacts with institutions (i.e. Chambers of Commerce) of involved countries;

• information on ICT markets of participating countries thanks to dedicated business studies delivered in advance;

• technical assistance by the staff of the Chambers of Commerce partners of the project;

• scheduling of the business meetings in advance through the web portal and personnel's assistance;

• organisation of travel and accommodation in Nepal;

• support of possible business agreements signed during the project.

Furthermore, the European Union provides an economic incentive to the participation corresponding to a voucher of €1,200 per company for 130 SMEs selected by project partners, which will partially cover companies’ travel expenses*.

In order to register to the Matchmaking Event:

• If you already have your login details (user ID and password), please edit your company profile ticking the corresponding option;
• If you have not your login details yet, please register to the website first and then tick the corresponding option in your company profile.

You will be then contacted by our team in order to verify directly your availability.

*Nepalese companies are not eligible to obtain the voucher. For Pakistani companies the voucher will also cover partial accommodation. All the information related to the application to receive the voucher will be sent to all the companies within the project database at due time.
