Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) is a representative organisation of Slovenian economy with more than 150 years of tradition. It provides a set of services for the member companies and also other interested customers; the variety of services includes: social dialog; support services for innovation and technology development enhancement, support for internationalisation, education, business events, economic data (economy surveys and forecasts, macro and micro analysis) and other. The CCIS is also a co-ordinator of 22 national technology platforms, 15 clusters and 3 technology networks in Slovenia. The CCIS has a large business network and business contacts, spread all over the world.

In Slovenia, the CCIS network is based on branch (26 branch associations) and regional basis (13 regional chambers).

The Centre of Competitiveness at the CCIS is a new entity, 100 per cent owned by the CCIS. The role of the Centre is to promote and provide support to companies, regarding internationalization and competitiveness – in the name of CCIS.
