The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of the Bistrita-Nasaud County – Romania (CCIABN) is a non-governmental, non-for-profit, non-political organization aiming the representation of the interests of the business community of Bistrita-Nasaud County (7.000 companies, 450 members) mostly SME’s, which carries on general interest activities in the purpose of the development of the economic environment of Bistrita Nasaud County.

According to its mission, our organization has dedicated itself to the protection and representation of the business community and to the support and promotion of the interest of the companies. The Chamber provides generally: economic lobbying and integration of business environment; creating a company, business information, cooperation with business partners, fairs and exhibition, intellectual property, business financing, professional and entrepreneurial training, providing training, consultation and guidance; assistance in solving problems related to economic activity; publication of a catalogue containing information about our members; other services dedicated to business community: economic partnerships, business forums, trade missions, consultancy regarding juridical aspects, human resources, training, seminars, round tables debating themes of interest, workshops, meetings with local authorities, meetings with experts from different domains, etc. Also, continuously adapts its activity to the general context of political, economical and social events that take place in our County; fulfils actions for training of the companies to respond to the requirements imposed by the EU.

The Chamber has a strong position, being recognised as an important regional stakeholder and this position is used for empowering its institutional development. The Chamber is part of European Information multiplication network that was created by the Delegation of the EU Commission in Romania and a member of Team Europe is part of the Chamber staff. Also an important part of the activity is represented by the EU projects implemented by the Chamber on behalf of its members and staff. These projects are framed within the specific economical activities concerning development of human resources, entrepreneurial culture, support for SMEs, a.s.o.

The services provided to member companies are aimed at helping them to face the competitive environment of the internal market and to prepare them to benefit from financial instruments. In order to implement such trend for local development, the Chamber use some innovative methods (training based schemes, project management approaches, international recognised experts, connection to the regional universities network, fairs and exhibitions , workshops and conferences etc) and all its internal and external resources.

Our organisation is member of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce. The Training Centre of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Bistrita Nasaud County (CCIA BN) focuses on vocational training through different training courses provided to the local community.
