CSL Milan is an agency concerned with working with SMEs, officially recognised by the “Regional Government of Lombardy”, by the “Italian Minister of work and social policies”, and the EU institutions; its mission is to provide better solutions to increase SMEs competitiveness through human resources’ capability enhancement and professional training, with a strong focus on IT sector.

CSL Milan is an associate of CSL Italia (http://www.cslitalia.net/), owning 25% of the CSL Italia’s shares. Whistles CSL concentrates on Regional activities in Lombardy region (one of the most advanced Italian Region in IT and a very high presence of SMEs), CSL Italia concentrates in nation-wide operations (staff training, enterprise creation and development, support to business creation). However, being CSL Milano the main stakeholder of CSL Italia, it did sustain the many activities of CSL Italia, whilst implementing directly a number of projects under the CSL Milan name. CSL Milan and CSL Italia do share, among the other things, the institutional mission of providing better solutions to enhance SMEs competitiveness through human resources’ capability enhancement. CSL Italia has 24 local associates spread over the Italian territory, and has a consolidated experience in a number of international projects.

CSL Italia has experience of participation in Leonardo projects (Romania and Spain), Equal (Holland and Hungary), job network creation (Poland, a project funded by ESF) and experience of project management in other international activities out of European union (tasked by the Italian ministry of Welfare, CSL managed a project in Argentina – Buenos Aires and Rio Negro).

Among the activities of CSL Milan, we can list:

• Sustain SMEs' investment in Human resource capability enhancement;
  

• Cooperation with entrepreneurial sector, with Provincial commissions for job creation, workers unions, and societies who intermediate job demand and offer;
  

• Research and Development activities;
  

• Sustaining CSL Italia Activities.
